Last year of having to spend Christmas in UK. How am I feeling?

I CAN'T WAIT TO LEAVE THIS DARN COUNTRY and celebrate subsequent xmas and other occasions BACK HOME.

Why am I feeling this way?

My emotions for the past week is as if I am sitting on a roller coaster: going up and down, going real up, coming REAL down...

Simon and I went to a Mediterranean fine dining restaurant, Sofrito's for dinner last week when the snow started coming down real heavily. At that moment, we felt very elated- fine food, sitting by the window's table, seeing snow falling down like flower petals. ~pretty.

After dinner, (the roller-coaster is beginning to go downnn) we couldn't get a cab home, and so.. we walk! Imagine the scene where crazy (or should I say "friendly") angmohs started throwing snow balls to any strangers on the street to celebrate. ~what the..

Change the mood, let's talk about something happier now.

A few days later, Simon and I went to watch Paul McCartney's live concert! It was damn cool! A concert like no other. In case you may not know, Paul McCartney was one of the lead singer in Beatles and they originated from LIVERPOOL! So, watching this concert here is really once in a life time occasion for Simon n i! (he rarely performs these days)

Watching the concert makes me forget that it was -9degrees outside for that moment.

After the concert, we came home and receive a note sticked outside the door- "Water pipe frozen, use water wisely"

Nightmare begins :S

And so... its the 6th day without water supply. How do we survive?

by the 2nd day, i broke down. Called Daddy n Mummy in Taiwan and started wailing! Eventually, I managed to be pacified.. nope, not that I was allowed to fly home immediately (oh btw, the airport here is stranded anyway) but that Mummy would come and stay here with me for a month in February! YESHHHHH

That piece of good news and the arrival of the x'mas present from Simon kept me happy for a few more days :)

yesterday, we bought 36bottles of 1.5litre of mineral water from the supermarket. yep, that's for cooking, showering and yes, flushing the toilet. yeeeeks.

I am feeling so claustrophobic. I can't go home now cos there's no flight (even if there is, it cost about SGD3K!) I can't get out of my house and go for a short getaway cos the road is way too icy with weather news signaling warnings on a daily basis (we initially planned to rent a car and drive down to Stratford upon Avon, the hometown of William Shakespere; and to do some shopping at Bicester Village, the branded outlets). I can't even escape to the library just across my apartment cos it's now closed for Christmas.

argh... i m kinda doomed. This Christmas holiday, i am supposed to finish my 3000words Internet law coursework and revised IP Law and Tourism module for the upcoming exam in mid jan. And see what am I doing now?

Posting my complaints on the blog and cursing each and every morning when realised that its another day without water supply, instead.

Ending my post now by wishing all of my loved ones back home... a VERY merry x'mas.
This Christmas, be thankful that you are celebrating it with your loved ones with good food and WATER. hah.

A Christmas without the white snow may not be a bad thing after all u know. :p

It was 3 months ago since I last updated my blog!
Weather in Liverpool these days has been pretty sunny, seems like spring + summer r juz arnd the corner. However, weirdly, it's been juz predicted tt snowing may take place again. :/

Wat has happened for the past 3 mths?

I shld be doing some equity law revision right now (juz another 2.5wks before my coursework submission) but I've decided to take some time off n share wif u guys, my loved ones back home something.... :)

As many of u may haf heard on the news, it was snowing pretty heavily during the xmas period over in uk.

Juz a few wks b4 the snow arrives...
It was raining very frequently n right after, I saw rainbow!!! :)

ANother 4 more days before I can finally laze myself n nt drag myself up early in the mornin to attend lectures! Trust me, its really a dreadful task as the weather is an average of 2 degrees now n the wind is sooo strong. zzzzz

Infact, my mood now is already switched on to the approachment of xmas n winter! "what is tutorial?.. heck it!"hahahah

what to do durin the 3 wks of break? Sadly, its gonna be endless typing of coursework n revision for my exams :(

What I am now looking forward is... the end of exams! goin to Malaga wif simon :D

Its been a long long time since i last blogged, almost forgotten my username n password! lol..

3 mths since I've said gd bye to Singapore once again. This time, its gonna be a longer gd bye... nt so sure when i will be comin back home again... next summer? next next summer? or maybe even longer... A very belated thank u for those who came to see me off...

Life in Liverpool so far...

wind is as usual blowing very strongly... the trees r balding, the nites r arriving earlier now, autumn is ending soon, miserable winter is arriving.
That wld also means, xmas is coming n winter break too! nth to be too happy abt actually, the break is mostly all abt exams n endless nights of coursework typing :(

2nd yr in law sch has been really bzy. many things haf changed, trying my best to adapt to it. Juz hoping n ofcoz, tryin to aim for the best. There's no other way out for me now, other than steppin on the accelerator n move on even faster! Dislike the feelings of fallin behind others.

Will be flying off from Manchester Airport tml in the evening.. stupid time difference of 7hours means that i will only arrive back in Singapore on Tuesday evening at 5.25pm (Singapore hour)!

Time really seems to be passing-by really quickly isnt it?... Just 9months ago, u guys were sending me off at the airport wif teary eyes n now i m coming back to Singapore for summer vacation! 4months of chilling out wif my dear family n frenz, it shall be :)

Will i miss Liverpool for this 4mths?...

Academically wise... NO!... lol..

Shopping wise... YES! Liverpool is known as the lowest cost of living city in UK. Most of the stuffs here r infact much cheaper than Singapore!

Food wise... hmmm.. Maybe...
Gonna miss food like Nandoos, Harbour City's salad pork chop, Bella italia's tiramisu!!!

The London trip was not just about the Singapore Day. Visited a few other places as well! :D

it was quite a boring ride, with not much(in fact non!) of breathtaking sights . Havent tried the Singapore Flyers yet, hopefully it wont disappoint me as much as the London Eye did. But nevertheless, the ride seems to pass pretty quickly wif nice companionship :)

Went to this Japanese Restuarant in Oxford Circus. We were really lucky tt day! U usually needa make a booking in order to dine in. The dinner was great! Besides salmon n ice cream, we ordered yakitori chicken n unagu as well. hmm... gd things in London comes with a "good price".. Tt plate of salmon sashimi u saw above cost 20pounds (42SGD)!

woo hoo... Exams' over!!!

First time taking university exams, furthermore, it is LAW... was kinda nervous initially. BUT later i realised tt.. hmm.. it wasnt that hard afterall! For both public and contract law, we only have to choose to do 3 out of 6 questions. Criminal law was the easiest, with just 2 out 5 questions! :D

Anyways, my sleeping hours r very badly screwed! Had been revising for the exams till the next morning, took a few hours of power nap n then, head of to the exam. n now that it all over... i m already used to it! In a very ironic situation now as to decide whether to sleep in proper hours or to stick back to this, cos you see, i will be back in Singapore NEXT TUESDAY! Therefore, if i were to sleep in proper timing now, when i am back home and heading to Hong Kong the very next day, i will then be suffering from heavy jetlag! :(

My blog has been left idling for quite awhile due to my exams revisions. Promised to share with you guys more about my London trip last month. Now its the time! :D

Singapore Day took place in Hampton Court Palace, a place where the royals will stay during summer period. The venue was great with such a nice weather on that day!

Trip to Manchester

Easter Holiday has finally arrived!! yippee!

Got kinda sick n tired fo the variety of food in liverpool, so simon n i decided to go down to manchester to makan! Along with us, came kin, charles n suzanne :D

We took the 11.22am train and arrived in Manchester in noon. Therefore, first stop, Pearl City for some brunch-tim sum!

I was so hungry tt i only remember taking this yummy chee cheong fun:

its wrapped with you- teow fillings. Soft on the outside, crispy in the inside!

After lunch, we heard from the restaurant manager tt there's a budhist temple in Manchester! How cool is tt! We therefore went treasure- hunting for it. :)

However... after using Kin's i-phone for GPS.. and walking for 15minutes... we arrived at the told address.. but realised tt it has moved! It became BBC station now! hahahaha

Enjoying my bubble-tea while the guys r figurin out which way to go...

n thinking.. "Are we there yet?..."

Realising tt the temple has shifted to somewhere really far from the city.. we decided, its shopping time!

Living in university halls is terrible!

Its nice knowing many frenz from all over the world: uk, hk, pakistan, msia n poland... BUT
it really pissed me off when pple started stealin food.. n using others' stuffs without washin it!

The kitchen is always in the mess despite cleaners' cleaning it durin the wkdays... oh goosh, i cant imagine what my kitchen's goin to be durin the easter holiday (cleaners wont be here for 3weeks!)

I m nt tryin to be bias or have any prejudice against any country but i kinda think tt chinese n asians r more well-mannered or shld i say, well-brought up. Perhaps its our culture. We know tt we should always spare a thought for the others. What urs, its urs. U shld nvr use other pple's stuff without permission.

Its b*tchin time:
-the pakistani guy livin next to me has very poor hygiene. He and his frenz always keep the toilet REALLY dirty. both he and another british gal always use other pple's utensils w/o washin it.
-the british gal... talkin abt her really pissed me off! use others shampoo n even the shaver! yucks! she always bring loads of frenz over to the flat in the middle of the night n blast loud music... so damn inconsiderate. Every morning after tt, u will realised tt there r some food missing. eeeks!

Apart from living off with some of ur flatmate's irritating behaviour... another thing which irks me is... FIRE DRILL!

I have absolutely no clue why the fire alarm is always ringing! When it rings in the day time, its cos of porters testin the alarm (for goodness sake, y do u haf to test it so many times every month?!).. its annoyin cos they always test it in the morning and tt affects my sleep! And when it rings in the night, it ought to be some drunkard students playin the pranks.

Hany really doesnt like living in Mulberry Court!!!

I just realised that its been more than a month since i last updated my blog! Better write something b4 u guys back in Singapore, has completely forgotten about the presence of Hany Soh!!!

Liverpool is moving from winter to spring (bye bye Mr. Snow flakes!) ... but it is still very very windy!!!

Here are some of the things which i've discovered:

1. Very authentic chinese food (5dishes + soup + dessert= 4pounds per person!)

A really cheap deal isnt it??... Where is it?... It is at Leo Casino, the biggest casino in Liverpool

As a 1st timer to a casino, the casino gave you a complimentary 10pounds vouchers to play roulette:
In the end, I won 10pounds! therefore, my dinner was on the house! hahhaa.. gd deal isnt it?:D

2. Lets talk about food again! hahaha... I kept telling my mum online these days tt I always go to this Nandos restaurant for dinner. Now, finally has the oppounity to show her the pics :)

3. Soccer...
hoohoo... Liverpool just thrashed man-u: 4-1 today! Personally, i m nt any club's supporter but being at Liverpool, i can really feel the scouser's spirit! as i walked down to the citycentre today, most of the people are wearin liverpool's jerseys!

4. Singapore Day
Will be goin to London on 25th of April for Singapore Day. It is an event organised to gather the overseas singaporean and mingle. Hopefully, will get to see many other friends who are studyin at UK :) oh.... Jin Bang's dad will be there to cook fried hokkien mee!!! hahahah

To conclude....
Hany is just an Easter and an exam away from home! Easter break will begin on 2nd of april for 3weeks. Then, it will be the scary, frightening exams! goosh... simply way too many things to rmb!!!! but thinking tt after my exams, i can go back to singapore immediately... I CANT WAIT!!! soooo lookin forward to goin to hk wif mummy! :D

Chinese New Year is just like any other days in UK.. nothing special... and Sch reopened on the very first day of the CNY! Can you guys imagine, while u guys r all enjoying the public holidays back in Singapore and goin out to bai nian, i was attending lectures and tutorials till 5 in the evening... sobz...

On CNY's eve, a few of us gathered at Gerladine's place to have bbq steamboat. Yummy!

Had another reunion dinner with the Singapore Society at May Flower Restaurant last week...

Some of you back home might be a little surprised.. you can actually see Lion Dance in Liverpool! Here's what I saw at the restaurant that day:

The dinner was pretty alright tt day.. kinda too noisy for me as many got so high n drunk!...
oh, amazingly, they served steam frog! hmm.. but still prefer ChinaCity :D The best dish tt i enjoyed during the dinner would be the Yu Sheng! oh man.. really missed tt back home! Used to have this like for almost everyday through out the 15days of CNY... hahhaha...

Trip to Paris (Part I)

Went to Paris a week before sch reopens.. This trip acts as a reward after submitting 7 pieces of coursework on the same day! goosh.. thinking back, its taunting! so many sleepless nights..

Anyway, this 4days 3nights paris trip was FUN!

We flew off from Liverpool John Lennon Airport in the evening..

This airport was named after a late member of the Beatles: (on the right of the pic below)

Arriving at Paris, we were in complete lost initially! The last time i came, it was 5-6years ago...
All of the signboards are in French; the MRT routes r really complicated as well! Yep, and so, the first night in Pairs was all about finding the hotel after coming out of the metro stattion! hahaha.. but luckily, I approached 2 hot french ladies on the road for help.. man, they r really helpful! One of them called the hotel and ask for clearer directions; and they walked us there! lucky lucky... :D

2nd day is all about.... DISNEYLAND!!

This drink is called Home Alone. Its my fav strawberry smoothie! Ordered this a few times when they used to have Planet Hollywood back in Singapore. :)

Reminiscing 2008..

Looking back at 2008, the events tt had happened seems crucial n meaningful to Hany... It marks alot of closures.. n at the same time, it marks alot of new beginning in my life :)

The year had begun with Mummy winning 3 tiers Singapore Table-Tennis Veteran Cup: Champion for Women Singles, Doubles n Mix-doubles.

Hany later graduated from Temasek Polytechnic- Law n Management.
it was a rather good closure to my poly life as my last semester grades was 3As 2Bs.. Wasnt tt ezy afterall.. as I was giving tuition n working part-time in a law firm at the same time. Really glad tt i've made it :)

One n 1/2 month after the wedding, Hany had her farewell dinner at the same place as well, to bid gd bye to her dearest b4 she begin her uni life in UK:)

i know this post came kinda late.. got delayed by it due to my courseworks! arghh.. courseworks r indeed a killer... i got grilled out of it for so many sleepless nites! but anyway, its over!!! I submitted all of it today n now, welcome my 2 weeks of holiday!! yay!!!:D

Yun ru told me tt BSS r coming up wif the idea of having a Wall of Fame. This concept targets to motivate students who are distracted n weaker in their academic results. I m glad n feels real proud that i can contribute n play a part in sharing my past experience in this project :)

On the new yr's eve, Kin, Simon n I went to New Star Restaurant for dinner...

Within juz a few months, we've officially become the regular customers of this restaurant! hahah.. y?...

Their roast duck is good!! reminds me of Johnson Duck rice back in singapore~ drooling...

Another gd reason wld be tt their hongkong style pastries n timsum r cheap n gd!!
The restaurants start business at noon n by 1pm, their egg tarts are gone!!! hahaha, now, we've learnt the lesson. being a regular customer, we r entitled to call n order the egg tarts in advance! ;) hahahah

X'mas in Liverpool (part 2)

For the past 3-4 years of my X'mas day, I had celebrated it with Val, Cin, Cho, Han yang n a few others. Its kinda weird this yr tt I wasnt there at valerie's hse preparing the potluck and merely chatting wif them thru webcam...

If i was there this yr, I wld be so proud of myself! hahaha.. cos I've got loads of dishes which I've learnt n mastered ;)

Went to a Italian resutaurant at the city centre for dinner during x'mas eve :)

As you can see from the pics, Hany is very very happy! :D

Starter was...
A mix platter of buffalo wings, grilled mushrooms, bbq ribs & garlic bread. Superb!

Main Course were...

Spicy Prawns pasta

Alfungi. Creamy pasta wif mushrooms n bacons. Awesome!!

Last but not least, the DESSERTS!

Toffee Ice Cream wif choc brownie!!

Mummy's n my all time fav... TIRAMISU!!

Hany is always happy in Liverpool. For one reason. Cos the food is GOOD! :D

Went to Lincoln X'mas market 2 weeks ago with Andy, Charles, Fendrick, Geraldine, Jeremy, Jennifer, Joanne, Kin n Simon

this cute little cow is special! u can put him in a microwave for 2 min, after tt, he will keep u warm for the entire nite! Furthermore, it has a really nice lavender aroma..:D

This pair of sheep skin & fur bootie costs me 35pounds. It is considered a really good buy as those branded similar booties are selling at 150pounds in retail shops :X... It keeps my feet really comfy n warm during this coooold winter:)

Winter seems to have officially arrived in Liverpool...

All the trees r bald now, dried leaves scattering on the floor...

As i was struggling with my public law tutorial last night at 3am.. Freezing at only 1 degree celcius, I glanced out of the window... n something seems to perk me up:
SNOW!!!

Its really rare to see snow in Liverpool cos we r near to the sea. Therefore, even if you see it, its rather flaky n light. I stretched my hand out of the tiny window to feel the snow... it melted immediately as it lands on ur palm.

Hany has been in Liverpool for 2months already...

Pretty fast isnt it?... Bet many wld already have accepted the fact and adapted to the life in Singapore w/o me by now...

As for me so far....

Have been pretty bzy these days... n guess will be even more busy as courseworks instructions (projects) are out. 4 subjects: Public Law, Criminal Law, Contract Law and English Legal Systems to struggle with... :(

Mummy's home cooked dishes!

Every hour, everyday, Hany is missing the yummy food back in Singapore.. In order to quench her thirst, she has no choice but to pick up some culinary skills. I m very glad n enjoying everyday's dinner time now :D

No doubt that the chinatown's supermarket has a great variety of items... there r still things which u really have cravings on n hope to eat it back in Singapore :'(

I m missing tmy yummy D24 and Mao Shan Wang durians!!!

oh btw,
Went to ChinaCity for karaoke with Simon, Fendrick, Andy, Kin, Alton and Charles few wks ago...

The karaoke here works like that: one big room cost 100pounds + GST (they call it VAT over here). Therefore, u have to order food up to the amount, otherwise, they will still charge u the amount at the end of the day.

To order food and spend up to the amount is not a problem for us at ChinaCity.. cos the food here is really YUMMY!!! hahhaa.. i wonder how many times have i said this before :D

Halloween Party

Last friday was Halloween nite. I went for the Halloween party organised by the Liverpool m'sia, singapore, hk n thai society.

The Brits over here really took Halloween n dressed-up party serioulsy! Lets juz say i saw many Wonder Woman, Batman, the Hulk, filinstones, powerpuff gals etc on the road! super funny...

oh oh.. the funniest is this guy who wears NOTHING but merely wrapped himself wif toilet papers! hahahahah

It was sort of an eye-opening experience n i had fun! not really becos i enjoy clubbing n drinking... its becos, its really fun seeing how ur friends behave when they r drunk!

UK police r so cool! they ride on horses!

The stadium is HUGE.... kinda crowded.. loads of police n guards cos West Ham fans r kinda crazy.. (oops!)

In the end, Man U beat West Ham 2-0, with Ronaldo scoring the 2 goals! yay!!

y m i happy?.. hahah, cos before the match begins, all of us went to the betting booth n i bet 10pounds for Man U to win!! hahaha...

Manchester trip (part1)

Went to Manchester with my usual singaporean khakis (Andy, Fendrick, Kin, Simon, Jeremy n Alton) last Wednesday to catch Man U vs Westham match!!

Heard from many after i reutrn from Manchester tt its not easy at all to get the tickets... Thanks to fendrick!.. lolx.. bet gerald will be so damn jealous! :P

Train:
The match starts at 8pm. We set off from Liverpool at 3pm.

Its freezing.............. we "chop" the entire waiting area box with a heater in it. lolx..

Food:

One of the reason why we set off 5 hours before the match starts is cos Andy told us that there's a place in Manchester which sells real nice egg tarts!

oooooh... u know what, unlike the guys who r really looking forward for the match, the egg tarts was actually my main reason for agreeing to go up to manchester!! hahahah

Mummy, did u see that?!! they have ur favourite Puo Luo Bao!!!

The puo luo buns r sellin at 1 pound each (SGD$2.50) and the egg tarts r selling at 70pence each. The egg tarts r realli good!!!! oh, n they even haf my long-missing bubble- tea, selling at 2pounds per cup!!

Back home, we have pizza hut, now in UK, pizza hut is trying to revamp to become...

Bought a limited edition bear at Hard Rock Cafe. yay!! tt adds up to my collection.. (Munich, KL, Bangkok, HK n now Manchester!)

Chinatown's restaurants

Time flies... Today marks the point of time where Hany is in UK for a month already!!! :D:D

Went to Chinatown for dinner with Simon yesterday.

The name of the restaurant is China City.... the food is superb!!!

we ordered Sweet n Sour Pork, Belacan kangkong and Ee Fu Noodles (all my favourite!!!)

the cost of this meal= 26pounds.. yep, its nearing 60SGD...

its kinda expensive la.. but i think its really worth it when once in awhile, u eat something which makes u have the "feelings of home".. u guys know wat i mean??.... lolx..

as compared to another restaurant which we went 3 weeks ago, whereby i ordered a M'sia style kway teow (i was expecting penang style or something pretty similar)... the output was awful!
It is juz a plate of yellowish oily kway teow fried wif nothing but pineapple, curry powder n bean sprouts! yucks.
That costs me 7.50pounds btw.

So.. moral of the story is... gd food comes with a price to pay! lolx...

Gotten myself a new set of handphone over the weekend! yippee!!:D

Most of the mobilephones in UK comes in F.O.C when u sign up for their plan. yep, got the above phone for FREE as i signed up the £35 monthly plan.

Have been eyeing on this phone even b4 i was in UK... its sleek n in cool piano black colour.. oh furthermore, it has 8GB of storage power!! :D

Went to Cheshire Oaks with a few Singapore mates yesterday...

Cheshire Oaks is a place where all of the factory outlets r located. They made it like a swiss cottage concept...

It is approximately half an hr journey away from Liverpool and the bus ride to n fro costs each of us 7pounds...:X.

Bought a few sweaters from Ralph Lauren (infact, the one i wore in the pic on top was the one tt i juz bought! lolx..)..

The best buy was definitely a pair of Timberland shoes which only costs me 9.90pounds!

yep, the things here is really tt cheap!! Now, who cares about DFS back in Singapore.. lolx..

oh btw, here's something funny i discovered:

To many, Liverpool is a memorable place for nothing but BEATLES!!!

Even though this band has disbanded for ages (2 already dead).. but they seems like a legend. Liverpool is the birthplace of the Beatles...

Everywhere u go, u'll somehow hear the Beatles' songs.. My favourite right now is Let It Be.. its really a very very nice song.... :D

The Beatles' Stories- a musuem... (didnt managed to get in there yet.. cos they close at 5pm SHARP. We reached there at 5.09! damn..)

oh, n my favourite car, Volkswagen Beatles... i dunno why, but its everywhere in this city!! lolx..

Actually... Titanic has never been to Liverpool but rather, its core shipping company was in Liverpool and one of its ticketing booths was located at Albert Dock. ;)

Played mahjong last Friday!!!! lolx.... surprise by it isn't it?? I won alittle la.. 15+pounds... my dear majong khakis back in singapore, its really shiok winning pounds!! lolx...

Decided to go around the city with Simon, Alton & Jeremy (freshers from singapore too ;)) on Saturday

We settled our brunch with hotdogs that are sold outside the St John Mall- 1.50pound.

yummy yummy! the hot dog is really HOT and HUGE! Really nice to eat this during the cold weather :D

I know its abit anti-climax to stop here.. have loads more to share with you guys!! but i have to go prepare liao..

will tell you guy more right after i come back from the lecture ya;).. luv ya! miss ya! muakx

Went to Chinatown yesterday!! Its around 15-20 minutes walk from where i live :D

At Chinatown, a few of us went to the supermarket to buy some groceries for our kitchen...

Dear Mummy n Daddy, do not have to worry that Hany will die of hunger over here cos...

Besides the food that I've brought over....

Supermarket in Chinatown has a whole lots range of instant noodles available!!!! hahahaha... they even have my fav tomyam instant noodles that are imported directly from Thailand! :D

The price is pretty reasonable, its 25pence per per packet... n students get 10% discount! :D

oh.. another reason why Hany will not suffer from starvation over here is that.... Her friends can cook!! hahah..

A few of the Singaporean staying next to my block decided that a few of us will share money to buy pots n etc n will cook most of the nights in my kitchen

Here's what have been done so far....

Yesterday we cooked cai xin with oyster sauce (i cooked that!!!), microwave chicken with sesame oil and omelette with chinese sausge:

As for today... we cooked

Sambal prawns with brocolli n carrots, chicken soup and oyster sauce chicken :D

Do you guys actually realised that its always chicken after chicken for every meal??

That's because... the drumsticks here are really cheap!!! Buy 1 packet, free 1 packet in Tesco Supermarket for 3pounds.. n each packet contains 6 drumsticks!

Wondering why its so cheap?? Thats because the ang mohs here eat chicken breast (each packet is 6pounds plus)... stupid them.. hahahha

Hi there!! Time flies, I have been in Liverpool for four days already!!!

I must say so far so good! :D So sorry for not updating this blog much earlier on.... have been pretty busy involving in the orientations :D

I have loads of things cant wait to share with you guys!!!

Arrived at the Manchester International Airport and missed the Meet n Greet Services provided by the University cos i lost oneof my luggage!!

Thank god my senior, Fendrick was there to pick me up..:)

From the Manchester International Airport, we took a train to their city centre- Manchester Picadily.

From there, we took another train to Liverpool's city centre- Liverpool Lime Street

Lime Street is where all the shopping malls are located. I was kinda surprised that price of the things here are pretty reasonable! ;)

Hi my beloved family n frenz back in Singapore!!!

Maybe by the time u guys discovered abt this blog, i m already in midst of the long haul flight or may already haf reached UK! :D

This blog is officially open on 19.09.08.. the day where Hany is leaving Singapore to Liverpool for her further education! :)

I will only be back on 26.05.09 for 2months holiday... meanwhile, this blog shall be the place where we will stay in touch wif one another okie ;)

Wld like to tk this opportunity to apologise to some of my frenz whom i didnt haf the chance to meet up b4 i leave.. so so sorry abt my busy tight schedules...
